SK2 Heat Shield
Experimental product idea.
My SK2 became warm, which caused me to sweat during my site survey. This Heat Shield is intended to insert a small gap between my body and the SK2 unit. This could potentially reduce the effect of body shielding during site surveys.
The Notch towards the bottom of the plate is intended to slip into a pocket, if there happens to be a pocket on your surveying clothes, the idea is to reduce swinging.
Modifying your SK2 in this way is obviously not supported or encouraged by Ekahau, so please only consider doing this if you are happy to accept total responsibility for the consequences.
Product contains:
SK2 Heat Shield (PETG 3D printed accessory)
6x pan head machine screws
Got access to a 3D printer?
I will post the model files for this product, if there is any interest in this concept.
