Joystick Cap V2 upgrade kit
Originally WLAN Pi units shipped with a 3D printed ‘nub’ or nipple joystick cap, we can call this Joystick Cap V1.
In 2023 we began using an injection moulded rubber joystick cap, with a much larger surface area and more pleasant tactile feel, this is Joystick Cap V2.
The Joystick Cap V2 requires a threaded insert to be screwed down (cutting a new thread) onto the square plastic peg of the Waveshare screen and button HAT.
Joystick Cap V2 upgrade kit includes
2x Joystick Cap V2
2x threaded inserts
1x vanity plate with enlarged joystick aperture depending on which WLAN Pi model you wish to upgrade.
