Basically because our customers come from all over the world and we have to handle taxes very differently depending on whether you are located in the UK or overseas.  It’s only when you check out and enter your delivery country that we can apply the correct taxes.  Until then the prices displayed on our website are pre-tax (ex-VAT).

When you check out and confirm your delivery country as UK, 20% UK VAT will be added to your order.  Unfortunately it’s not possible to add the VAT before this point without charging all our overseas customers too, which we thought would be most unfair.

If your order is being delivered overseas, you won’t be charged UK VAT, but you will still need to cover any import taxes/duties for your order. Once the order arrives at your customs office, you’ll be contacted with details of any charges.
